State and National Parks
The national park website is http://www.nps.gov and it has information about all the parks. We have included links to as many local informational sites that we could.
Arches Easily one of the best places to visit. The famous delicate arch on the Utah license plate is here. Don't be too lazy to hike to it. It is breathtaking and much better than any picture.
Bryce Canyon One of the favorites. You can see Bryce and Zion in one trip due to close proximity. Bryce is known for tall wind woven red rock.
Capitol Reef You get the same feel of Bryce, but a lot more space and freedom to look around.
Canyonlands You get the same feel of Zions and Bryce, but a lot more space and freedom to look around.
Cedar Breaks It's beautiful, but not impressive compared with Bryce and Zions. It's really more of an overlook for a passerby.
Dinosaur There is a dinosaur musem from a lot or real dinosaur bones found here in Utah. There is also a quarry you can go see.
Glen Canyon Lake Powell is a good place to go boating. It is water from the Colorado River.
Golden Spike or Golden Spike The meeting place to complete the first United States Railroad.
Hovenweep Really cool place of Native American homes. Close to Zions and Bryce and often forgotten. It's worth the extra drive.
Natural Bridges Don't know anyone that has been there.
Rainbow Bridge It's a good arch, but unimpressive compared to Arches.
Timponogos Cave Awesome cave in American Fork. It's a big cave and nice hike.
Zions Locals like to hike The Narrows. It's walking up a stream with huge towering walls on each side. It's a one of a kind hike. You can even camp along the shore. Zions is the most popular national park in Utah.
