Red Iguana Mexican
Many people consider Red Iguana the best Mexican Food around. It is a small casual restaurant close to Salt Lake City downtown and is always busy.
Mandarin Chinese
Located about 15 minutes north of Salt Lake City, the Mandarin is a wonderful local chinese restaurant. The restaurant decor is truly unique chinese and the food is awesome.
Luganos Italian
A true Italian chef. Luganos food is truly remarkable. It is always very busy. Located in Salt Lake City. Sometimes the chef will come out and meet some of the customers.
Yurt Surprise Me
You get to ski in or snowshoe in to a small Yurt in the backwoods at Solitude Ski Resort. A local chef will cook a surprise menu. The food is great, but the atmosphere is what makes the dinner. Hometown feel and you get to sit with new people and chat. Some people come back every year for the atmosphere. The cost is $100.00 a plate.
Cafe Rio Mexican
Started in Utah, this restaurant is growing fast and expanding to nearby states. It is basically high end fast food with an emphasis on quality food. It is around $8.00 per person. The reason people like it so much is that you get the food fast and the quality is there.
Roof Buffet
The roof restaurant overlooks the Salt Lake LDS Temple with a breathtaking view. The buffet is considered to be one of the best. The restaurant is located in downtown Salt Lake City.
Garden American
The garden restaurant is right next to the roof restaurant, but a lot less money. The atmostphere is still really nice and the food is great, but not as fancy. You can also get a great view of the temple.
